Sex Education Plays a Vital Role In Raising Kids
Sex Education in educational facilities is limited only to that of how the reproductive system works. Safe sex advice, the different kinds of sexually transmitted diseases and other subjects that somehow create an impression on the teens that sex is dirty, is not helping teens understand what sex is all about. Instead of focusing on how one should avoid getting sick because of sex, schools should include topics that children are interested in. One of the reasons why children would rather watch porn stars than listen in health class is because their parents and teachers have ingrained in them the idea of sex as taboo. That sex is only for married couples and that pre-marital sex is a mortal sin. And because it is taboo, and spoken in hushed tones, they are more likely to be curious. Instead of asking those who have experienced it, they turn to their friends who are equally naïve about the topic.
The question of what teens want to know about sex is not a mystery; we just have to look back when we were younger and just as curious as our children. They would like to know various positions that will create sensations for themselves and their partners; they want to find out if their classmates are enjoying sex, the reasons why so many children try it out so early and other factors that should be discussed in the homes. But the problem is that most parents are embarrassed to talk to their children about sex; either because they are not comfortable divulging information that they have; or for fear that they might stimulate their children's desires.
Schools should create better curriculums for sex education classes that discuss not only textbook materials, but also various experiences from other people. But these people are not only trying to make money by showing off some skin and performing acrobatics in front of the camera, they have become icons in their own right. If they are given the responsibility to act as role models and teachers to the younger ones, they might impart some knowledge about sex that we are not privy to.

This outrageous idea should be given much thought by the government and educational organizations if they wish to further educate children about sex.
